Eat, play, love - Slumber Party @ Skeppsbron 4

Event created as part of a public program, workshops, and discussions, 2025.

"Eat, Play, Love" was an evening gathering at Skeppsbron 4 that took place on May 24. Artists, researchers, and future friends came together to collectively explore radical imagination and the idea of commoning as a form of resistance. Through shared meals, workshops, conversations, and collective rituals, temporary infrastructures of care and coexistence were created. Participants were invited to an alternative “sleepover,” during which the commons were not merely theorised but enacted through simple yet powerful acts of eating, making, imagining, and being together. Guests were welcomed with an extended communal dinner prepared in collaboration with Garden Loops, as well as collective embroidery, readings aloud, zine-making workshops, performative moments, and a bedtime story. This evening of play and friendship took place on the fifth floor of Skeppsbron 4, for one night only. I was responsible for coordinating collaboration with the Konsthall and Garden Loops, participating in the heart-to-heart discussion, and co-leading, together with Julia Florentzi, an embroidery and collective reading workshop.
