About me

Kinga Molińska

My name is Kinga Molińska. I am a visual artist and art researcher. I currently live and work between The Hague, Kraków and Gothenburg.

I was born in 1999 in Cieszyn, where the river and mountains bring together Poland and Czechia. I graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts at HDK Valand in Gothenburg (2025) and BA in Philosophy at the University of Warsaw (2021). I also studied Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (2021–2023). My work has been shown in group and solo contexts in Poland and abroad. My artistic practice is grounded in research and data-gathering methodology. I use various sources such as images, texts, conversations, internet culture and everyday observations from my immediate surroundings. I am particularly interested in how different social phenomena can manifest themselves physically, often through the language of installation and material processes in sculpture. My practice includes working with installation, sculpture, sound and painting, as well as feminist research and reflection on the body, intimacy and relationality. I choose my medium according to the subject matter of each research project. I also develop multisensory and digital installations that combine digital technologies with traditional methods. Over the years, I have received various artistic grants that have supported my creative practice and research. Here you can find my:
