During the exhibition "Soft Ties Strengthen the Knot" (Gallery Monitor, Gothenburg), I presented two paintings created in response to themes of relationships, care, and community. The inspiration came from meetings of teenage girls at the gym, where they built relationships and a sense of agency through strength training. The paintings were made on canvas using oil paints and natural pigments, and their format and composition refer to bodily closeness and the materiality of shared space.
